1. Bhagwan says Submit to me and I will strike down the mind. Your business is to surrender and leave everything to me.

2. Only keep quiet, Bhagwan will do the rest.

3. Bhagwan points out two ways A. Enquiry method B. Surrender to Guru or God.

4. Grace of Guru makes it possible to surrender.

5. Satsang is an association with the one who realized Sat or Being.

6. Bhagwan says - If you stay with a Jnani, he gives you your cloth ready woven.

7. When thoughts arise during meditation, one should watch them and not to follow them. Then ask the question-Where from? To whom? What is the thought? Finally who am I. This questioning of the mind is to be kept up till the last minute .

9. Supreme Liberation is found in infinite consciousness.

10. Along with Atma Vichara ( self enquiry) submission to the divine will is also a must .

11. The outcome of one’s activity rests with the God.

12. Take care of the present, the future will take care of itself.

13. As you are, so is the world.

14. Without understanding yourself, what is the use in trying to understand the world. First try to find out the truth behind yourself.

15. It is true that the mind must be strengthened and purified before surrender takes place.

16. Renunciation is the non identification of the self with the no self.

17. Vichara - enquiry leads through knowledge to love.

18. The doctrine of Destiny does not take away the possibility of effort or indeed the necessity for it.

19. Bhagwan to Mrs.Noye - Why do you weep? I Am with you wherever you go.

20. There were some who never saw him but received the silent initiation from a distance.

21. It is the Guru and not the disciple who sees the progress made and it is for the disciple to carry on.

22. The real Mouna (silence) is in the Heart and speech is a safety valve, it is better to control it than to renounce it.

23. A devotee who puts his trust in Bhagwan is always looked after.

24. Where is the pain if there is no mind? Jnani does not identify himself with the body.

25. About Bhagwan other saints sayings "HE is the sun and we are its rays".

26. Sat = Being = Existence = Pure Being. Chit = consciousness. Anandam = Bliss.

27. Absolute Being = Perfect Knowledge and pure Bliss.

28. Vasanas areTendencies in a man continuing from previous births. You can overcome by Tapas or by the Grace of god.

29. Arunachala is the centre of silent and pure spiritual initiation.

Lord Siva is teaching in silence.

30. Jnani is indifferent to the existence of body, almost unaware of it .

31. Moksha(liberation) is getting rid of non existent misery and attaining the bliss.

32. Bhagwan’s Samadhi(end of living with the body) does not interrupt His flow of Grace.

33. Bhagwan says He who has won the Grace of Guru shall undoubtedly

be saved and never forsaken.

34. Bhagwan says it is not true that you are making no progress.

It is I who know it and not you.

35. Bhagwan’s presence is here even now. Even now He as in the past, guides whoever approaches him and whoever submits to him. He supports to all who seek him, he is

here even now.

36. If you are not able to attain self realization in this life, it is your Prarabdha (past karma results).

37. If one realizes one’s true nature within his heart, it is plentitude of Being, Awareness and Bliss without beginning or end.

38. Self Enquiry method is easier than all other paths for loosening Karma’s bonds and ending births.

39. Abide in stillness without any stir of tongue, mind and body and continue to hold.

40. Of all the means to liberation, self enquiry (knowledge) is the only direct route.

41. Knowledge destroys ignorance as surely as the light does to darkness.

42. And the self being known, what other things are there to know?

43. Only with the Grace of guru or god you can attain self realization.

44. There is neither creation nor destruction, neither destiny nor free will.

45. Silence is the teacher’s speech. Gone are the doubts in the pupil’s mind.

46. You are always of the nature of bliss.You are the conscious Brahman which is free from birth and death.

47. Reality is nothing but the Self.

48. The Lord is Eternal, the sense of eternity is bliss.
